Snowshoeing

Snowshoeing is a healthy, invigorating and fun way to explore the countryside. We start our tours on trails and then teach you the skills to go off track. Enjoy the floating feeling of snowshoeing through powder snow. We will take you on a Guided 2 to 3 hour trail in the beautiful Elbow or Kananaskis Valley with the picturesque mountains as your backdrop. Learn how to identify the local animal tracks. Our experienced and knowledgeable Guides will also teach you about the geography, history, flora and fauna of the area. All equipment as well as a complimentary beverage and snack is provided for your day in the Outdoors!

Wilderness Survival

Spend either a half day or full day with our Professional Guides/Instructors and learn skills required to survive an emergency situation. For our half day you will learn valuable skills such as Fire lighting using various ignition methods, Shelter Construction using Tarps, Wood or snow, cooking/Water Acquisition and Purification, Tool Skills such as the use of a Knife, Axe and Saw as well as Bush Travel and Navigation.

For our Full Day Survival Program you will expand your knowledge with the above to include a Plant Walk enabling you to identify and review useful Trees, Shrubs and Plants, Signals from Ground to Air and Basic First Aid.
