Saddle and Paddle Experience (Trail Ride and Rafting)
Explore the magnificence of the Canadian Rockies on horseback! Begin your adventure day with a magical 2 hour guided trail ride and get a panoramic view of the Kananaskis River Valley. Enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch at Boundary Ranch and then head to Inside Out Experience for an exciting afternoon of rafting adventure. Spend approximately 2 hours on the river surfing, splashing, playing games and paddling through the rapids on professionally guided rafts. Hear stories of past cowboys, outlaws and heroes that roamed the area or keep your eyes open for the local resident wildlife. At the end of your adventure quench your thirst with complimentary refreshments and swap stories of your experience!

Minimum age: 6 years old and 45 1bs. in weight.
Minimum Difficulty: Beginner - Intermediate.
A delicious BBQ steak lunch is included (vegetarian options available).
Adult Rates: $145.00 per person + gst
Group/Youth Rates: $145.00 per person + gst

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM lunch is served

What is provided:
Safety orientation lesson prior to trip departure, complimentary snack and refreshment at the end of the trip, radio communication/first aid kits, knowledgeable and friendly guides that are wilderness first aid trained and river rescue certified, shuttle transportation from "meet location" to the river and back, spray jacket and pants (as required), wetsuit, wetsuit socks and mitts, paddling helmet, paddle, lifejacket, lunch, dry bags, water cannons, and lots of fun!

What to bring:
Long pants and jacket, shoes with a short heel or running shoes, swimsuit or shorts and t-shirt (preferably not cotton), warm sweater (wool or fleece), sunscreen, sunglasses, hat or cap, camera, running shoes or sports sandals (will get wet), change of clothes and shoes, towel, signed waiver form, and a sense of fun and adventure!

Horses & River Courses - Homeplace Ranch  
For a more personal horseback riding experience, start the day off exploring the incredible beauty of Kananaskis Country located in the magnificent Canadian Rockies on horseback, courtesy of Homeplace Ranch.  You begin your adventure in the morning, where you’ll be introduced to the ranch, the guides, and the area.  Receive a safety talk plus an introduction to basic horsemanship, then be partnered with your horse, mount up and prepare yourself for a morning of gorgeous mountain vistas, valleys and the beauty of the foothills.  Ride through open meadows and across creeks , all while your guide tells you about the area and its unique history.  The philosophy of Homeplace Ranch embraces personal enrichment beyond basic ridership, focusing on the partnership and bond between horse and rider.

 After your ride, get ready to get wet and have fun with an exhilarating whitewater rafting trip down the spectacular Kananaskis River.  All clothing and equipment is provided – just bring your bathing suit and towel .  After a safety talk and introduction to paddling, take on the Kananaskis’s Class II/III rapids, finishing off with river games and even a water fight or two!

Bike and Raft Experience
What a way to spend a day! A half day will be spent descending great trails of the picturesque Elbow Valley near the town of Bragg Creek (45 min. south-west of Calgary) or Kananaskis Valley (1 hour west of Calgary towards Canmore & Banff) on a suspension mountain bike! The other half will be spent surfing, splashing and paddling through the rapids on a raft down the corresponding adjacent rivers with our Professional Guides who will teach you about the history, flora, fauna and geography on the Elbow or Kananaskis Rivers!

The Mountain Biking routes are primarily downhill on single track and appropriate for most active people. The Elbow Valley trip provides exceptional views of Calgary to the east, the Elbow Valley below and the Rocky Mountain Front range to the west. The Kananaskis Valley trip provides a scenic cruise through a beautiful forest with a backdrop of rocky mountain peaks! It may even get you hooked on the exciting and revitalizing activity of mountain biking!
*Gravity assisted rides are also available for the more experienced Rider.

Rates: Includes a delicious riverside lunch. We only book for groups of 10 or more.

"Call of the Wild" Experience (Hike and Raft)
Follow the Call of the Wild! Start the day off by exploring the incredible beauty of Kananaskis Country located in the magnificent Canadian Rocky Mountains with your professional guide. Breathe in the fresh mountain air as you partake in a 3 - 4 hour hike that can range from easy to energetic (i.e. from exploring a mountain valley to hiking up a mountain ridge). Be captivated by the stories of the history, geography, geology, flora and fauna of the area. Ravenous from your hike, you will stop for a hearty picnic lunch by the Kananaskis River. After lunch you will be transported to the start of the Kananaskis River for your incredible white water rafting experience! Paddle, surf and play in the waves for 2 - 2.5 hours of fun! Finish off your incredible day with a complimentary refreshment and snack - celebrating your Call of the Wild!

Difficulty: Beginner to Advanced. We choose trails suited to your skill level and comfort zone.

Check-in time is at 9:30 am and the trip finishes at approximately 5:00 PM at Seebe, Kananaskis Village or Allen Bill Pond depending on your river selection.

Shuttle transportation to trailhead and river from "meet location" and back, rain jacket and pants(as required), riverside lunch and refreshments, wetsuit, wetsuit socks and mitts, paddling helmet, paddle, life jacket, trail snacks, dry bags, water cannons and lots of fun!
There is a safety orientation prior to trip departure, complimentary snack and refreshment at the end of the day, and knowledgeable and friendly guides who are trained in radio communication and Wilderness First Aid.

What to Bring:
Hiking boots or sturdy running shoes ,water bottle, swimsuit or shorts and T-shirt, warm sweater (wool or fleece), day pack for hiking (optional), sunscreen, sunglasses, hat or cap, camera, running shoes or sports sandals (that will get wet), a change of clothes and a towel, and your signed waiver form.

Turf and Surf Experience (Golfing and Rafting)
Sure to be a hole-in-one in your hearts! Come out and enjoy the splendor of the Rocky Mountains on this beautiful course offering fun for the entire group from experienced golfers to beginners alike. After your deli lunch you will enjoy the thrill of whitewater rafting with our professional and knowledgeable guides. As you play games with water cannons, surf and paddle through the rapids, we will teach you about the history, flora, fauna and geography of the area.

Bragg Creek Ultimate Paintball Challenge & Raft
Any one over the age of 10 years old can enjoy an adventure filled half day of white water rafting on the Kananaskis River and a thrilling half day playing paintball. Included in this package is 2 hours on a class I-III river and for your paintball adventure 600 paintballs, upgraded marker, harness system (to carry paintballs), goggles, coveralls and unlimited air. Lunch is not included in this package.

Raft and Dinner Theatre
You will start off your day at 1:15pm with an adventure filled white water rafting trip down the Kananaskis River. You will then travel to the town of Canmore to watch the award winning OH CANADA EH? dinner show. This is a musical celebration of Canada which provides a truly unforgettable five course Canadian dining experience. Meet singing Mounties, lumberjacks, a hockey player, Anne of Green Gables, and many other Canadian characters as you enjoy the songs and scenes of Canada. For families with children under the age of 5, a relaxing float trip is available.
