Inside Out Experience - Swiftwater Rescue Courses in Kananaskis near Calgary, Alberta.

The Swift Water Rescue certification will prepare you how to react effectively and efficiently in any distressful water emergency situation. It is a two and half day course located in the Kananaskis Valley. You will learn proper use of equipment, how to assess river dynamics and hazards and good decision making regarding group size and capabilities. This course combines lecture with hands on practical scenarios to allow everyone the opportunity to fully benefit from the experience. This swift water rescue training course meets the standards of the Professional River Outfitters Association of Alberta.

Swift water rescue courses from Inside Out Experience in Kananaskis near Calgary, Alberta.

We offer two dates for this training course in April and May every year in the Kananaskis area of the Canadian Rockies near Calgary, Alberta. In this three day session you will learn the skills required to react quickly, precisely and safely to help anyone in a distressful situation on the water. Learn proper use of equipment, assessing river dynamics and hazards, and making relevant decisions regarding your group size, roles and capabilities. You will learn both in classroom sessions as well as practical sessions. This swiftwater rescue training course meets the standards of the Professional River Outfitters Association of Alberta.

Includes

Wetsuit, Helmet and Lifejacket rental. Certification is through the Lifesaving Society.
